Our Program

Dedicated To Growth, Development, & Education

Hours of Operation

Our school hours are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Classes begin at 9a.m.  We want all our children to receive the full benefit of their education at Partners In Learning so please arrange your schedule in the morning to have your child in his/her class by 9a.m.  A delicious morning snack is served at 8:30a.m. so children can come together and have something to eat before they begin their school day.  By planning to come to school early for the monging snack insures your child will be ready for class by 9:00a.m.

At the end of your child’s school day, our teachers may release your child only to you or a person you have authorized.  If we do not recognize the person coming for your child, the staff will ask for identification after checking your authorization for release.  The safety and security of your child is of prime imporatnce here at Partners In Learning.

Our school closes at 5:30p.m. and our teachers and staff leave to meet their own evening responsiblities.  Please be sure to come for you child on or before closing time. Please call and let the school know if you will be picking up your child after 5:30p.m.

Extra Enrichment Programs Available

For those parents whose schedules do not allow them to drive their children to and from classes of special interest, we offer certain activities to meet these needs. Partners In Learning employs specialists for classes and activities requested by our parents that are not part of our regular program. Included in the price of our tuition are dance and music programs that allows children to explore the arts of either program. Amazing Athletes is also offered to any child wanting to participate and is offered for a separate fee.

Our Daily & Weekly Agenda

Children can bring their lunch from home or participate in our lunch program. Our lunches are prepared through Bright Belly.  Through Bright Belly, parents can order online for meals and snacks that are appropriate and cater directly to their child’s appetite.  We always encourage our children to try new foods including fruits and vegetables to encourage them to develop healthy eating habits.  Some examples of what’s on Bright Belly’s menu are our famous Sweet Saucy Dogs, Grass Fed Beef, Chicken Nuggets, Veggie Burgers, Chicken Quesadillas, and these are just to name a few.

At Partners In learning, we implement inclusion as part of our daily curriculum. This means that no children are discriminated against no matter what their needs might be. We believe that all children should be given optimal consideration as unique individuals. By communicating with the family, the extended family, and additional resources, we design programs to accommodate the child’s specific needs. Our aim is that each child acquires a positive self-image and that a child who is treated with respect will learn to treat others with respect in return.

Some things that Partners In Learning will be helping to implement in the daily lives of these children will be sitting for a designated amount of time, communicating with peers and adults, selecting activities on their own, taking turns, responding to questions and demands, making choices, requesting things, and increasing their attention spans. At Partners In Learning, we feel that every child should receive the opportunity to be part of a “natural” school environment and all it has to offer. We will do everything to encourage positive social skills and help develop a sense of self-confidence.

Each class celebrates the joys of music and movement through a variety of fun and inviting activities. Playing with instruments, dancing and singing are important experiences for young children and here at Partners in Learning children learn while they have fun.

Cooking is a fun and well-loved part of our school’s curriculum. Children are given the opportunity to express themselves through carefully planned cooking experiences. Parents are delighted in the many delicious foods their children participate in preparing. With an emphasis on healthy eating, the teachers at PIL introduce good eating habits to our children at a very early age.

The children and staff at PIL are very proud of our new Outdoor Garden. Great care is taken, and excited anticipation always evident with each classroom’s section in the Outdoor Garden. Learning about foods and how they grow is an important lesson in each classroom, but actually watching the progress of food growing and then delighting in the harvest is a priceless experience. We love our new garden.
